Intake Specialist Responsibilities & Duties:

Following up and scheduling referrals.
Maintain tracking of referral sources.
Completing insurance verifications and prior authorizations as necessary (excluding skin subs and UltraMist).
Managing charting organization for providers who see patients in other facilities.
Cash collection for patient copays and deductibles, ability to set up payment plans in accordance with company policy.
Completing administrative tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Ability to self-manage.
Proficient with medical terminology and understanding of medical processes.
Strong communication and writing skills.
Ability to coordinate and interact with all departments- medical, front and back offices.
